I’ve been inspired by different imaginings of the seasons for quite some time, so these figure designs came to me easily. They are inspired by the work of writer / illustrator Elsa Beskow. Here, like in most of my art, I used materials on hand that would be best suited for the design details. Many found objects, such as the decorative ribbon in the form of a green vine, drove the design of the figures.
