Assignment: Create a thematic set of images that look like stills from a theatrical setting, through the use of models, props and collage

Over a few hours I made some quick cardboard paintings to serve as backdrops for this black and white photography series. This image was inspired by photographer Arthur Tress, who photographs found objects within the framing of a Victorian toy theater. For this photo of a doll in matching pajamas, this painting was inspired by Magritte’s iconic clouds.
