Assignment: Create a thematic set of images that look like stills from a theatrical setting, through the use of models, props and collage

For this image, I created a paper stencil to appear as a patterned field of organic shapes, then during the darkroom development process placed it over an exposure of a fence gate with climbing vines. The goal was to contrast the stencil curves against the hanging vines.
